Job Overview:Role Responsibilities:

The Data Engineer will marry technical expertise with passion for creating a better understanding of hockey, supporting decision-making at all levels. This role requires a strong team-oriented approach, adapting to our self-starting, service-oriented culture.

  • Develop and maintain processes ingesting, cleaning, and organizing hockey data.
  • Collaborate with analysts and Hockey Operations staff to understand data management needs.
  • Contribute to hockey thought and workflow optimization, ensuring high-quality data-driven insights.
Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline.
  • Strong technical skills, including cloud-computing platforms and data engineering.
  • Experience building data pipelines supporting statistical analysis and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with task orchestration and workflow automation tools.
  • Prior experience working with hockey data and analytics.
