Job Summary:

Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Retention Specialist to lead and develop strategic initiatives for engaging and retaining diverse nursing and patient care talent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in workforce development, talent management, and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to engage and retain nursing and patient care talent.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with external community partners.
  • Establish and maintain robust reporting models to track retention and engagement metrics, root cause analysis, and trends.
  • Participate in Shared Governance Council and actively participate on project teams.
  • Develop and implement nursing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives to foster continued engagement, productivity, success, and retention.
