District Manager

The District Manager at Green Thumb plays a pivotal role in leading multiple retail stores within a district, driving growth and excellence in a dynamic and expanding national cannabis retail footprint.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and elevate multiple retail stores within a district, focusing on professional development of General Managers, operational alignment, and excellence.
- Establish benchmarks for store management teams and implement policies and programs to drive sales and customer/patient engagement.
- Collaborate with Regional Directors and other District Managers to create synergies and develop strategic initiatives.
- Monitor P&L reports, forecast sales figures, and inventory requirements for each location within the district.
- Act as a coach to store managers and a resource to each store employee, inspiring success and exceptional guest experiences.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least five years of experience managing teams in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations.
- At least two years of multi-unit management experience preferred.
- Cannabis experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
- Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID.
- Ability to travel up to 75%, mostly within the state between stores.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Ability to make data-based decisions in a timely manner.
- Exceptional time management and planning capabilities and effective delegation.
- Proven record of hiring and developing great talent and conflict resolution.
- Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
- Can-do attitude and ability to adapt quickly, with previous operational experience in a growth environment preferred.
- Resiliency is a must, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a demanding, start-up, evolutionary, fast-paced environment.
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information and complying with HIPAA requirements.
- Continuously open to constructive, developmental feedback, with the ability to maintain composure even in difficult situations.
- Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb.
- Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules, and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
