Position Overview
As the Facilities Operations Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison within the plant during the 3rd shift, providing essential technical support and guidance on infrastructure and facility systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer technical expertise on plant layout and operational troubleshooting.
- Oversee the effective use and operation of facility support systems, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of circuit troubleshooting and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Supervise maintenance staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to meet company objectives as measured by performance indicators.
- Balance workloads to optimize results and provide technical leadership during problem resolution.
- Assist in troubleshooting and emergency response, ensuring timely and cost-effective repairs.
- Train staff in complex maintenance tasks and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills with the ability to inspire at all levels.
- Familiarity with Lean and TPM manufacturing principles is preferred.
Working Conditions
The role requires working in various environmental conditions, necessitating the use of safety equipment such as eye protection and steel-toed footwear. Weekend work may be required.
