The Science and Mathematics Department at Simpson University is seeking qualified candidates to join our adjunct instructor pool for Chemistry. We are looking for individuals with the qualifications to teach introductory or general chemistry lecture and/or lab courses for our pre-nursing, biology, kinesiology, and engineering students.
Responsibilities- Deliver courses in-person at our Redding campus.
- Utilize our learning management system for course management and delivery of content.
- Work with a diverse student body population.
- Express a strong Christian faith and be able to share faith and engage in conversations about Christ.
- Affirm the statement of faith of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
- M.S. in Chemistry or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.
- Commitment to Simpson University's values and lifestyle policy.
- Ability to supervise employees (for supervisory positions).
