Job Opportunity

Simpson University, a Christian institution of higher learning, is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach chemistry courses for the 2023-2024 academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering introductory or general chemistry lecture and/or lab courses to students pursuing degrees in pre-nursing, biology, kinesiology, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach chemistry courses in-person at the Redding campus.
  • Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content.
  • Work with a diverse student body population.
  • Express a vibrant Christian faith and commitment to Christian community.
  • Affirm the statement of faith of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Requirements:

  • M.S. in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Commitment to Simpson University's values and lifestyle policy.
