Adjunct Professor of Chemistry

The Science & Mathematics Department at Simpson University is seeking qualified candidates to join the adjunct instructor pool for Chemistry. The department welcomes applications for instructors with the qualifications to teach introductory or general chemistry lecture and/or lab courses for pre-nursing, biology, kinesiology, and engineering students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver courses in-person at the Redding campus.
• Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content.
• Work with a diverse student body population.
• Express a vibrant Christian faith and commitment to Christian community.
• Affirm the statement of faith of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Requirements:

• M.S. in Chemistry or related field.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise employees (for supervisory positions).
