Denver Children's Home is seeking a compassionate and experienced House Parent to join our team. As a House Parent, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for youth who have experienced trauma.

Job Summary:

The House Parent will reside in our group home and provide 24/7 care and supervision to our residents. You will work closely with our clinical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring each youth receives the support and guidance they need to thrive.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a therapeutic family-centered atmosphere in the home
  • Supervise and guide youth in daily activities, including meal preparation, homework, and chores
  • Facilitate the development of independent living skills and pro-social behaviors
  • Model positive relationships and maintain professional boundaries
  • Dispense medications as necessary, in accordance with QMAP standards
  • Transport youth to and from appointments, school meetings, and outings in the community
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members to meet the needs of our youth
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and experience working with adolescents preferred
  • Prefer group home and/or residential setting experience
  • Must be at least 30 years of age
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $57,000 per year
  • Generous benefits package, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance
