We are seeking a seasoned Senior Payroll Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our shared services payroll department.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct US Payroll operations with attention to detail, ensuring compliance with all timelines and protocols.
- Lead complex payroll projects from conception through successful execution.
- Foster strong working relationships with Human Resources and Finance teams across all brands to deliver on all payroll initiatives.
- Monitor and adhere to tax legislation to ensure accurate reporting and correct filing procedures are consistently applied.
- Implement cross-training strategies that support consistent service delivery across all entities.
- Evaluate existing procedures for opportunities for refinement and streamlining.
- Partner with technology teams to facilitate and contribute to system upgrades and the adoption of new technological solutions within payroll operations.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) credentials and 7-10 years of experience in managing teams within a dynamic managerial setting.
- Proficiency in UKG Pro and familiarity with ADP Workforce Now, especially regarding Canadian payroll protocols.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to nurture talent within a shared services framework.
- Exceptional communication abilities, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and successfully manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
