Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Partner with hotel DOS and Regional Sales Director to maximize RevPar opportunities in the local market.
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to inform sales strategies and optimize revenue performance.
  • Coordinate with other hotel-level departments to facilitate services and drive sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with local community groups and officials.
  • Act as a representative of the management team at hotel events and functions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding health, safety, and alcohol services.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales or revenue management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances.
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
  • Ability to travel, including some overnight travel, is required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
