Job Summary

The Client Executive is responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients, collaborating with the Producer as needed, developing in-depth knowledge of client accounts, and serving as a liaison between clients and other departments. This role requires a strong ability to cultivate and nurture meaningful relationships with current and prospective clients, as well as internal and external referral sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Develop and present the IMA value proposition to current and prospective clients, highlighting capabilities and benefits.
  • Market renewals and new business opportunities, working closely with the Producer as needed.
  • Prepare and present benefits analysis and proposals to clients, ensuring a clear understanding of options and recommendations.
  • Direct the work of the Client Associate and Client Advisor as needed, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct benefits presentations for clients' employees through coordinated annual enrollment meetings.
  • Stay up-to-date on insurance coverages, available markets, carrier eligibility requirements, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Explain complex insurance concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner, tailoring communication to meet their needs.
  • Take ownership of the retention and growth of assigned client accounts.
  • Identify and offer technology solutions to clients, facilitating payment and providing value-added benefits.
  • Resolve escalated client issues, including eligibility, enrollment, and claims inquiries.
  • Ensure all carrier submissions are complete and accurate, working with clients, carriers, and the Client Advisor to provide a positive experience.
  • Maintain a service calendar and ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Communicate compliance and regulatory changes to clients, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Keep all current and historical information up-to-date in the agency management system.
  • Maintain accurate records in agency technology platforms, such as Zywave and HR360.
  • Handle PHI securely in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Stay current with industry knowledge and required licensing.
  • Collaborate with IMA staff, sharing information and time as needed to support business objectives.
Requirements
  • Hold and maintain a NC Insurance Agent license.
  • At least 7 years of Client Advisor experience or a Risk Management Degree with at least 5 years of Client Advisor experience.
  • Possess behavioral indicators for sales and leadership aptitude based on Predictive Index results.
  • Successful completion of an assessment demonstrating a firm understanding and ability to explain insurance coverage to clients.
  • Demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be willing to be paid by a combination of salary and additional compensation based on team results.
