NaphCare, Inc. is seeking skilled nursing professionals to join our team at the Fulton County Jail - South Annex in Union City, GA. We offer a range of shifts, including full-time, part-time, and PRN positions, as well as 8-13 week temporary contracts.

Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a critical role in our mission to be the leading provider of quality healthcare in the correctional industry.

Responsibilities
  • Take and document patient history and vital signs
  • Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical surgical procedures, and examinations and/or treatments
  • Administer medications
  • Perform venipuncture and I.V. therapy
  • Collect samples, specimens, and cultures
  • Transcribe therapeutic orders
Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited program for practical or vocational nursing
  • Hold and maintain a current, unrestricted nursing license in the state of Georgia
  • A valid CPR card
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
