Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our OBGYN team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in routine nursing situations under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses in the comfort, care, and treatment of patients.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and observe and record patients' conditions and progress.
- Conduct daily inventory of medical equipment and supplies and maintain exam/treatment rooms per infection control policies and standard clinic protocols.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs, including temperature, respirations, pulse, and blood pressure, and obtain patient measurements, to include height, weight, pain levels, and others in the electronic medical record.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia.
- Current BLS certification required.
