Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dynamic team at HealthCARE Express. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:- Obtain vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight.
- Insert saline locks and perform basic and advanced cardiac life support.
- Apply sterile dressings and remove sutures or staples.
- Assist with pelvic examinations, perform EKGs, and cleanse and irrigate wounds.
- Administer oral medications and apply various splints.
- Initiate routine lab tests following provider consultation, swab mucous membranes for cultures, and administer and read TB skin tests.
- Perform venipuncture and administer medications intramuscularly, subcutaneously, intravenously, and intradermally.
- Stay flexible for cross-training and occasionally take on tasks beyond the usual scope of practice.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends.
- Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour, depending on experience.

All newly hired employees are required to complete a 4-day training session in Texarkana, TX as part of their onboarding process.
