We are seeking a skilled Chef/Cook to join our team at the JPII Seminary. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing daily meals for seminarians and staff, as well as supporting special events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to menus and portion sizes.
  • Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Support special events and assist with setup and cleanup.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of professional cooking experience.
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work weekends and flexible hours.
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional kitchen environment, using standard kitchen equipment and tools.

Physical Demands
