Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a School Bus Driver/Custodian at the Community Development Institute Head Start. This is a full-time position that requires transporting Head Start students safely and on schedule, while also maintaining the cleanliness of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Student Transportation: Safely transport Head Start students to and from school, adhering to all safety and traffic rules.
  • Facility Maintenance: Clean and maintain facilities, including repair activities as needed, to ensure a healthy and safe environment for students and staff.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A current in-state Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus and Passenger endorsement is necessary.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly is essential.

Compensation:

The salary for this position is $14.84 per hour for those without a CDL and $15.99 per hour for those with a fully qualified CDL. The estimated annual salary is $62,240 for those without a CDL and $66,800 for those with a fully qualified CDL.
