Position Overview:
The Merchandise and Operations Coordinator for Events is tasked with managing product distribution and logistics for Bethel Music events.

This position entails supervising the sales area and point-of-sale systems, orchestrating shipping, setup, breakdown, and volunteer coordination for all events, as well as overseeing our storage and inventory facilities.


Compensation:
$40,000-$45,000/year
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of product distribution and logistics for Bethel Music events, including the sales area and point-of-sale systems.
  • Coordinate planning, shipping, setup, breakdown, and volunteer requirements for all Bethel Music events.
  • Manage the ordering, setup, and breakdown of event materials such as banners, posters, lanyards, and promotional items.
  • Recruit and lead volunteer teams for various events.
  • Supervise the Bethel Music storage facility, maintaining accurate inventory records and serving as the primary contact for inventory needs.
  • Organize product assortments and deliveries for influencers, artists, and guests for marketing purposes.
  • Ensure the merchandise display area is well-stocked, inventoried, and prepared for guests.
  • Reconcile payments and monthly budgets by updating records with sales and payment information.
  • Coordinate incoming shipments and package deliveries to offices and storage facilities.
  • Assist with events as required.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred college degree.
  • Forklift certification is mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of e-commerce and experience with sales software and platforms, including Shopify, Google Analytics, Inventory Software, Square, and Amazon.
  • Understanding of financial principles related to inventory management.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient in Google Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to type and use hands or fingers for prolonged durations.
  • Able to lift, transport, and position equipment and inventory regularly, up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel for Bethel Music tours and events for up to 2 weeks at a time.
