Job Title: NACCHE Program Manager

The University of Oklahoma is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our team at the Native American Center for Cancer Health Equity (NACCHE). As a Program Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating various outreach, research, educational, policy, and clinical service initiatives within the Cancer Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director and Senior Program Manager in implementing and designing multiple pillars of NACCHE.
  • Facilitate research with tribal communities and affiliated organizations, educational initiatives to promote the advancement of indigenous students into research or health care professions, collaborating with tribal or affiliated entities to develop policies that address the marked cancer health disparities faced by Native American people in Oklahoma, and interfacing with clinical entities to facilitate improvement in cancer prevention or care delivery.
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals.
  • Assist with program budget and develops proposals, negotiates and administers grants and contracts.
  • Coordinate with financial staff to ensure stewardship of grants and contracts, as well as, NACCHE personnel.
  • Assess program effectiveness and identifies areas of improvement.
  • Manage program documentation, data collection, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 48 months of program development, program management or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with tribal nations or entities is essential to this position.
