Job Title: Principal Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Program Manager to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a key member of our Lifecycle Sustainment and Modernization Solutions (LSMS) team, you will be responsible for leading efforts on large projects within an Integrated Product Team (IPT), including technical planning, requirements development and tracking, system integration, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct all phases of programs from inception to completion, including proposal development and contract closeout.
  • Develop and manage customer relationships and customer intimacy.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and obtaining solutions.
  • Integrate requirements vertically and horizontally across the project to ensure successful execution.
  • Brief Northrop Grumman management and Air Force customers on project status.
  • Identify and mitigate risks.
  • Work with multiple teams and cross-functional departments.
  • Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's in science or engineering with a minimum of 13 years' experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.
  • Understanding of the Integrated Management Framework (IMF) process and concepts.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
  • Strong customer engagement skills.
  • Aircraft Modernization and Sustainment experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain special access.
  • Experience managing/developing small to large proposals across Development, Production, and Sustainment type programs.
  • Experience related to contracts management and cost analysis is highly desirable.
  • Experience in large program capture and execution strategy development and leadership.
  • Significant experience in USAF aircraft modification and sustainment execution.
  • Experience presenting project performance to upper management and customers.
  • Risk Management experience.
