Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Conduct pre-visit planning, review patient charts, and update medical records
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, taking vital signs and recording medical history
- Provide timely communication with patients, make inquiries, and execute follow-up tasks
- Assist with scheduling tests and treatment, pre-certify patients for hospital care, and process referrals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant training program preferred
- Minimum 1 year of work and/or clinical training experience in the healthcare field
- Hold National Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA)
- Proficient in obtaining manual vital signs and using electronic health record systems
- Commitment to confidentiality and respect, with ability to maintain patient confidentiality
