Job Summary:
Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process, including planning, organizing, and controlling resources to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Supervise a team of production employees, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Monitor and maintain production equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and making recommendations for upgrades or repairs as needed.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure seamless production operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving materials, to ensure a smooth production process.
- Prepare and submit reports on production metrics, including productivity, quality, and safety performance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing product quality.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of production employees.
- Knowledge of production equipment and processes, including maintenance and repair.
