Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor

Westlake Pipe & Fittings, a leading manufacturer of polyvinyl chloride pipe and fittings, is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality control, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs for safety policies and procedures.
  • Review and verify production schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Accurately record and report production data, including inventory levels and labor costs.
  • Collaborate with production planners to optimize workflow, reduce setup time, and minimize labor costs.
  • Work with the superintendent to set performance goals, communicate expectations, and monitor progress.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, including productivity enhancements and quality control measures.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date technical documentation and quality control procedures.
  • Manage maintenance work orders, expediting materials as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform daily audits of SAP storage locations, ensuring accurate inventory levels and quality control.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, technical documentation, and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and potential hazards. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality control.
