Position Overview

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

The role involves direct interaction with patients, ensuring they are registered according to office protocols, assisting with necessary documentation, and maintaining accurate patient records. Responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming patients and managing their registration process.
  • Assisting patients in completing forms and verifying insurance details.
  • Maintaining and organizing patient records efficiently.
  • Facilitating patient appointments and managing incoming calls.
  • Collecting payments and scheduling various appointments as needed.
  • Ensuring a clean and welcoming reception area.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to obtain an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Preferred:

  • Experience in scheduling patient appointments.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in using multiple web-based systems.
  • Ability to accurately assess and comprehend insurance information.
  • Proficient data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
