Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Office Custodian to join our team at Steamboat Ski Resort. As a Night Office Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office buildings, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vacuum, dust, and mop office buildings to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Clean restroom facilities and other designated areas daily
  • Stock supplies in housekeeping and ensure that all necessary materials are available
  • Empty all trash and restroom receptacles and maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Mop and sanitize all base area restrooms, including Gondola Square, Ski Corral locker room, Lower Gondola Building first floor, and the Bear River
  • Damp wipe and dust recycling receptacles as needed
  • Clean the first floor lunchroom and empty trash daily
  • Maintain a clean Gondola Plaza area and pick up trash and litter
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as any regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Professional cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management in a positive and friendly manner
  • Timely reporting to work, dressed, and prepared for daily assignments
  • Adherence to all safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's Service Excellence standards
Physical Requirements
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Safely lift approximately 30-50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Run a vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
  • Walk, bend over, and stand for long periods of time
