About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patient Access Lead to join our team at Florida Orthopaedic Institute. As a key member of our Patient Access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic's day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Patient Access team, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, helping to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Assist with training new staff members and maintaining training materials.
  • Work with the supervisor to create and implement new programs and processes.
  • Accept escalated calls from staff and take ownership of resolving issues.
  • Monitor the cancellation phone line messages and process incoming cancellation requests.
  • Ensure compliance with all company plans, policies, and procedures.
About You
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a medical field with Patient Access skills in Registration, Scheduling, Insurance Benefit, or Authorization background.
  • You must be multi-tasked, organized, display a positive attitude with positive thinking, and be self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
