The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, established in 1926, is a distinguished private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to education, history, and culture. We proudly manage one of the most extensive and renowned museum complexes globally, with a mission centered on ensuring that future generations can learn from our past. As the largest living history museum in the United States, our Historic Area spans 301 acres, featuring 88 original structures and 525 reconstructed buildings that reflect the 18th-century aesthetic through meticulous archaeological and architectural research. Our team consists of skilled interpreters and expert tradespeople, all dressed in period attire, who vividly bring the 18th century to life. Additionally, we operate two exceptional museums, the DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum and the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum, along with a prestigious research library, the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library. Our accommodations include five premier options, providing unique lodging experiences within the Historic Area. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute opening and closing procedures efficiently.
• Provide exceptional bar service to waitstaff.
• Conduct initial and final inventory assessments; order necessary supplies.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age in compliance with A.B.C. regulations.
• A minimum of one year of bartending experience or completion of a bartending program is required.
• Exhibit outstanding public interaction skills and meet established performance standards.
• Ability to accurately handle monetary transactions.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements:
Applicants should be capable of performing tasks that may include lifting loads up to 50 lbs, as well as bending and stooping.

Important Note: In accordance with Virginia A.B.C. regulations, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation does not employ individuals in alcohol-serving roles who have been convicted of a felony or any crime involving moral turpitude or drug-related offenses within the last five years.
