Job Overview

Position: Senior CNC Systems Technician

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to operate autonomously while demonstrating expertise in various control systems, including Fanuc and Siemens, along with proficiency in PLC Programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Mechanical and Electrical systems on CNC Mills and Lathes.
  • Identify and procure necessary components for repairs, with a focus on Fanuc Control Retrofit.
  • Prior experience in CNC machine operation is advantageous.
  • Innovate and develop optimal methodologies aligned with cutting-edge practices.

Travel Expectations: The role primarily involves work within the Houston Metro Area, with a requirement to travel at least 25% across the USA.

Physical Demands: Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and possess the agility to bend, jump, and navigate in and out of machinery while adhering to all safety protocols.

Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory.
