Job Summary:

EnerStaff LLC is seeking a highly skilled CNC Field Service Technician to join our team. As a CNC Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, and performing repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs on CNC machines and mechanical equipment.
  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components, including motor drives, controllers, sensors, switches, breakers, overloads, and power supplies.
  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of power transmission components, including drives, bearings, gears, belts, chains, and sprockets.
  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, including tanks, pumps, valves, piping, cylinders, and controls.
  • Provide proper record keeping, documentation, and information for machine files and repair files.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical parts manuals, electrical and mechanical diagrams, gages, meters, calipers, and other measuring tools.
  • Use all required hand and power tools, including drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, fork lift, and other maintenance equipment.
  • Proactively attain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Recommend modifications and improvements to machines, equipment, and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in a technical-related field of study preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
  • Experience working with EMAG, OKUMA, MAZAK, and MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens and controls are a plus.
