Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Gloversville Family Health Center. The successful candidate will contribute to the assessment of patients and ensure their well-being. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, offering a competitive salary range of $23.46 - $30.50 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and ensure their well-being.
  • Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
  • Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care.


Requirements:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of LPN/LVN nursing required.
  • BLS Provider certification within 3 months of hire date.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the New York Board of Nursing.


Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Use personal protective equipment as required.
