About the Role:
Ferrero is currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Public Affairs Manager, based in our Greenford office. In this role, you will align with Ferrero Group strategy and the business development plans for the UK&I to support Ferrero and its related companies. You will be responsible for planning and executing the Institutional Affairs programme to build awareness amongst stakeholders of Ferrero's approach to doing business and strengthen our reputation with relevant stakeholders, Government, NGOs, etc. You will also be supporting engagement on regulatory interventions.
Main Responsibilities:
As the Senior Public Affairs Manager, you will have full responsibility to support the implementation of the Institutional Affairs Programme in the UK & Ireland with a particular focus on supporting Ferrero-related companies - Fox's Biscuits and Eat Natural. You will manage all activities to maintain and enhance strategy-focused, result-orientated Government relations at a regional and local level, including interaction and negotiation with the Government on specific issues/topics and Government policy/regulations advocacy. You will also ensure monitoring and reporting on Institutional Affairs and developments, providing full and regular insights to the business. The role will also mean, you will be a company expert on public policies relating to two or more of the following: Health & Nutrition, Responsible Marketing, Sustainability, Access to Markets & Trade. This role allows you to lead on key issues including, Thoughtful Treating, including portion labelling (across entire business), Portion Research, Joy of Moving stakeholder engagement, Access to Labour and Trade and Exports. You will support the company and brand strategies to protect and equip them to respond to potential critics on key issues. As part of your role, you will liaise with Head of Institutional Affairs and Head of Corporate Communications and propose relevant material for Social Media Leverage and propose ways to align or leverage CSR activities for the UK/ROI team.
