Compensation

Job Description
As a Civil/Landscape Design Intern at Intrinsic Development, you will play a key role in providing site analysis, zoning/code research, concept planning/site planning, illustrative graphic exhibits, and presentations for various projects, including mixed-use, multifamily/residential, and commercial developments with diverse amenities and recreational components.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough site analysis and research, including code requirements.
  • Develop conceptual designs, site layouts, and parking studies.
  • Prepare development plans to support rezonings and/or entitlements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on a wide range of projects, creating detailed designs for construction.
  • Assist with specification writing, permitting, and construction administration.

Qualifications
  • Required: Currently pursuing a degree in drafting, civil engineering, landscape design, or a related field.
  • Required: Experience with Lumion, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Land FX, Adobe Creative Suites (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketchup), GIS/ArcView, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
  • Familiarity with grading, drainage, plant material, and planting design.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
  • Creative design skills for complex project solutions.
  • Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and highly organized.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
  • Effective listener with ability to understand needs of team members at all levels.
  • Interact effectively with project team, client, and reviewing authorities.
