Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Onboarding Specialist team focused on domestic KYC/AML and new account openings.
  • Oversee multiple client teams within the Global Commercial Bank.
  • Manage daily execution and oversight of Know Your Customer processes for new onboardings and expansions.
  • Act as the primary contact for escalations and make informed decisions based on unique circumstances.
  • Contribute to work streams and assist in developing innovative strategies for the KYC organization.
  • Promote a strong Risk Culture and manage Know Your Customer risks by analyzing profiles and activities related to operational, compliance, and financial crimes.

Additional Duties:
  • Enhance client satisfaction by gathering feedback and ensuring teams are well-equipped to offer consultative support.
  • Collaborate with business partners across the market, including treasury, credit, and compliance teams.
  • Ensure operational excellence through thorough inspections of risk-related activities, including audit issues and remediation plans.
  • Drive the development of Onboarding Specialists through coaching and training to enhance business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Recruit talent to ensure the team is well-prepared to meet onboarding and quality assurance goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Operational Risk or onboarding processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering clear and concise messages.
  • Certification as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree is desirable.
Essential Skills:
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams, with a focus on Risk management and operational risk.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous feedback and operational excellence.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, effectively influencing clients and internal partners.
  • Demonstrate solid business acumen and understanding of Global Commercial Banking and Client Management processes.
