About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Cargo Sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating our sales approach within the Domestic US to a portfolio of Regional Domestic customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of Regional Accounts
  • Develop strategic business plans to manage and grow portfolio
  • Analyze market trends and collaborate with Revenue Management to develop sales programs
  • Utilize sales tools, including PowerBI, to uncover new market opportunities
  • Negotiate pricing and capacity agreements with regional customers
  • Meet/exceed specific revenue goals associated with customer portfolio
  • Review industry data to leverage market opportunities and create value
  • Work closely with field sales, Operations, Revenue Management, and Strategy teams to grow our business
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Familiarity with American Airlines products and services
  • Cargo experience
  • Sales experience
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with deadlines assigned by Manager
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team and effectively manage projects
  • Aptitude for problem-solving
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
