Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies with the accounting staff.
- Prepare opening balance sheets and lead the accounting integration for new acquisitions.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulations, and spearhead preparations for external audits.
- Drive and lead initiatives to improve and streamline accounting processes, enhancing overall efficiency and quality in financial reporting.
- Partner with other departments to gather essential financial data, resolve issues, and support cross-functional business initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles (Big 4 preferred), ideally with at least one in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts, including ASC 842 (Leases), ASC 805 (Business Combinations), and ASC Internal-Use Software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (NetSuite preferred).
- Experience with intercompany transactions and foreign currency translations is a plus.
