Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies with the accounting staff.
  • Prepare opening balance sheets and lead the accounting integration for new acquisitions.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulations, and spearhead preparations for external audits.
  • Drive and lead initiatives to improve and streamline accounting processes, enhancing overall efficiency and quality in financial reporting.
  • Partner with other departments to gather essential financial data, resolve issues, and support cross-functional business initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles (Big 4 preferred), ideally with at least one in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts, including ASC 842 (Leases), ASC 805 (Business Combinations), and ASC Internal-Use Software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (NetSuite preferred).
  • Experience with intercompany transactions and foreign currency translations is a plus.
