About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at YorkHoist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks across our facilities, ensuring they remain in excellent condition.

The ideal candidate will have experience with facility maintenance, repair, and upkeep. They must be able to work independently, think critically, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. A valid driver's license and good driving record are also required.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, including overtime, semi-annual performance profit sharing bonuses, and year-end holiday bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on facilities, equipment, and machinery
  • Assist with facility buildouts and upgrades, including painting, framing, and electrical work
  • Conduct quarterly preventative maintenance audits to identify areas needing attention
  • Exterior maintenance, including power washing, window cleaning, and snow removal
  • Landscaping tasks, such as lawn care, leaf removal, and mulching
  • Preventative maintenance for HVAC systems and manufacturing equipment
  • Respond to trouble calls, including clogged drains, leaks, lockouts, and electrical issues
  • Set up and install new machinery and equipment
  • Transport materials, parts, and assets between facilities
