Job Title: Infection Preventionist RN

Job Summary:

The Infection Preventionist will serve as a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for developing and implementing effective infection prevention protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and review policies and procedures related to infection prevention and control practices.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct outbreak and cluster investigations to determine the root cause of infections.
  • Collaborate with Infectious Disease physicians, Microbiologists, and other healthcare providers to address infectious or employee health-related issues.
  • Develop and deliver education programs to promote infection prevention practices among staff and patients.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in infection prevention or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices, including epidemiology and microbiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
