Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team at InVision Human Services. As a Residential Counselor, you will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement support plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide daily living assistance, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management
  • Encourage and support individuals in their daily activities, such as community outings and social events
  • Monitor and report any changes in an individual's health or behavior
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Residential Counselor will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, providing support to individuals in their homes and community settings.
