Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Counselor to join our team at Constructive Partnerships Unlimited. As a Direct Care Counselor, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in our residential program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Administer medications and topicals as directed by doctors' orders.
  • Implement individualized program plans and maintain accurate records and charts.
  • Accompany individuals to community inclusionary activities, medical appointments, and other outings.
  • Participate in in-house recreational activities and maintain a safe and clean living environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to float to different sites and work overtime as needed.
Working Conditions

The Direct Care Counselor will work in a fast-paced residential setting, providing care and support to individuals with varying needs. The ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods is required.
