Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Resident Care Assistant to join our team at Peabody Management Systems Inc. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide personal care services, including incontinent care, bed baths, and assistance with toileting.
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfer needs, including using mechanical lifts and other equipment.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met.
  • Assist with medication management, including administering medications and monitoring residents' medication regimens.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities and conversations to promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Document resident care and services provided, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, as well as stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and care team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
