As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for conducting patient screenings, cleaning teeth, and advising patients on oral health and preventative care.

You will also assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases and maintain documentation and charts on each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patients feel comfortable before their examination
  • Sterilize dental instruments properly
  • Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
  • Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
  • Clean and help protect patients' teeth
  • Educate patients on proper teeth care
  • Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
  • Take X-rays or dental impressions
  • Assist dentists with selecting treatments
  • Maintain documentation and charts
  • Monitor supplies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
  • Dental Hygiene license required
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Patient and friendly personality
  • Attention to detail
  • Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Diploma in Dental Hygiene (preferred)

Pay and Benefits:

This is a part-time or full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $55.00 - $75.00.
