Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team at ABM of Ohio. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain buildings and facilities, including floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
  • Heavy Cleaning Duties: Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
  • Safety and Security: Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to complete all tasks assigned, including occasional use of ladders and other equipment.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Work History: Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments, including ten-year work history if available.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles or similar work environments.
  • Similar Work Experience: One year of similar work experience in cleaning and maintenance.
