About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Sanitation Worker to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our employees and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Empty trash bins and clean the trash area daily
  • Pull pallets and clean product bays on a rotating basis
  • Clean up spills and breakages, and determine if product is resalable or must be disposed of
  • Perform light maintenance duties as assigned, such as replacing light bulbs and collecting recyclable materials
  • Prepare reports and forms to document cleaning schedules, spillages, and product damage
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Previous custodial experience preferred
  • Able to read and write legibly, follow orders, and perform basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision and operate warehouse equipment, including reach trucks, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, as well as occasional driving and climbing. The ability to push/pull, stoop/squat, bend, and reach above shoulder level is also required.
