The Custom Cabinetry Project Coordinator is entrusted with the comprehensive management of projects, ensuring their success while fostering and nurturing client relationships. This position plays a vital role in supervising home renovation initiatives from inception to completion, guaranteeing quality outcomes and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Capable of managing several projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Site Management: Engage in pre-site assessments and lead post-project reviews. Regular on-site presence is required to oversee project progress and minimize disruptions.
  • Change Order Oversight: Evaluate, authorize, and finalize all project change orders, ensuring seamless integration into the overall project framework.
  • Project Closure: Conduct the final project review and prepare a comprehensive project closure report upon completion.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct post-project discussions with clients to gather feedback and confirm satisfaction.

Essential Skills:

  • Financial Oversight: Proficient in managing project budgets, including cost estimation, expense tracking, and subcontractor negotiations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Vendor Relations: Skilled in sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor and subcontractor partnerships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local building regulations and the permitting process to ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Ability to foresee potential challenges or delays in renovation projects and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Material Sourcing: Expertise in selecting and acquiring materials that fulfill both aesthetic and functional criteria while managing availability and lead times.
  • Quality Assurance: Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality throughout all renovation aspects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A degree in a relevant field or over ten years of pertinent construction management experience, particularly in home renovations or custom cabinetry.
