Construction Project Management Internship with a Focus on Building Success

About the Opportunity
As a Construction Project Management Intern at LEE Construction, you will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. Our company is dedicated to delivering exceptional results and building strong relationships with our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination: Assist the project team with planning and coordination tasks, including reading and interpreting building plans, understanding key construction documents, and documenting control procedures.
- Digital Filing and Organization: Develop and maintain digital filing systems, ensuring that all relevant documents are accurately structured and easily accessible.
- Submittal and RFI Assistance: Support the project team with submission of submittals and shop drawings, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Miscellaneous Tracking Logs: Maintain tracking logs for caissons, undercut, concrete pours, inspections, and other relevant activities.
- Physical Tasks in the Field: Perform physical tasks as needed, demonstrating a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education and Age: Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program and at least 18 years of age.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and take a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Organization and Attention to Detail: Ability to establish an effective personal organization system and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability and Punctuality: Demonstrated dependability and punctuality for all work-related commitments.
- Learning Orientation: Willingness to pursue related educational and training opportunities, with a focus on job performance improvement.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technology solutions.
