Position Summary
This leadership role involves overseeing and executing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and services in residential and light commercial environments. The position requires strong leadership skills to train and manage a team of electricians effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate with minimal supervision to handle residential and light commercial service and maintenance tasks.
  • Assess, diagnose, and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Utilize testing equipment and hand tools to diagnose malfunctioning systems and rectify issues, including providing preliminary sketches or cost estimates.
  • Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes.
  • Conduct tests on electrical systems or circuits using various testing devices to guarantee safety and compatibility.
  • Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring and fixtures according to job specifications and local regulations.
  • Repair or replace wiring and components using hand and power tools, ensuring proper connections to circuit breakers and transformers.
  • Install conduit and pull insulated wires through designated areas to complete electrical circuits.
  • Connect power cables to equipment and install ground leads.
  • Fabricate parts using hand tools based on specifications.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including power construction equipment and testing devices.
  • Work from heights, such as ladders or scaffolds, to install or repair electrical systems.
  • Maintain a current electrician's license in accordance with regulations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of company property, vehicles, and tools.
  • Follow standard procedures to ensure company vehicles are stocked appropriately and manage warranty parts.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all business dealings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Utilize the Straight Forward Pricing Guide to present repair or installation options and conduct safety inspections.
Qualifications
  • Master Electrician Certification
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential electrical work
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Up-to-date knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Effective communication skills to convey issues and solutions to clients.
