Position Summary
This leadership role involves overseeing and executing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in residential and light commercial environments. The successful candidate will possess the ability to lead, mentor, and organize a team of electricians effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate with minimal supervision to conduct service and maintenance calls for residential and light commercial projects.
- Assess, diagnose, and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Utilize testing equipment and hand tools to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and provide preliminary estimates for materials or services.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or the need for repairs, ensuring compliance with applicable codes.
- Test electrical systems and circuits using devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to verify safety and compatibility.
- Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring and fixtures according to job specifications and local regulations.
- Repair or replace wiring and equipment using appropriate tools, ensuring proper connections to circuit breakers and transformers.
- Install conduit and pull insulated wires through designated areas to complete electrical circuits.
- Connect power cables to equipment and install ground leads as necessary.
- Fabricate parts using hand tools based on provided specifications.
- Employ a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools and testing devices, to complete tasks efficiently.
- Work from ladders or scaffolds to install and maintain electrical systems safely.
- Maintain a current electrician's license in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that company property, vehicles, and tools are properly maintained and accounted for.
- Follow standard procedures to ensure company vehicles are stocked appropriately and manage warranty parts effectively.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all business dealings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Master Electrician Certification
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential electrical work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up-to-date knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Clean driving record
- Effective communication skills to explain issues and solutions to clients
