Position Summary
This leadership role involves overseeing and executing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and services in residential and light commercial environments. The position requires the ability to lead, mentor, and organize a team of electricians effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate with minimal supervision to perform service and maintenance calls in residential and/or light commercial settings.
  • Assess, diagnose, and resolve customer issues in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
  • Identify malfunctioning systems, components, or apparatus using testing equipment and hand tools to determine the cause of failures and implement solutions.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to detect hazards, defects, or the need for repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes.
  • Test electrical systems or circuit continuity using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes to guarantee system safety and compatibility.
  • Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local regulations.
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools or power tools, connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Install conduit, pipes, or tubing in designated areas and pull insulated wires or cables through to complete circuits.
  • Connect power cables to equipment, such as motors, and install ground leads.
  • Fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications as needed.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment, including power construction equipment, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems.
  • Maintain a current electrician's license in accordance with regulations.
  • Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are properly maintained and accounted for.
  • Follow standard procedures to ensure company vehicles are stocked appropriately and defective parts are returned as necessary.
  • Represent the company in a professional, honest, and ethical manner in all business dealings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Utilize the Straight Forward Pricing Guide to present repair or installation options accurately and conduct safety inspections.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master Electrician Certification
  • 4+ years of experience in residential electrical work
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current knowledge of national, state, and local electrical code regulations.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Effective communication skills to explain issues and provide accurate solutions to clients.
