We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with emotional, behavioral, and intellectual/developmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Support a therapeutic environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we serve.
- Conduct daily living activities, including health management, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and hygiene assistance.
- Follow and implement behavioral support plans.
- Document shift reports, incident reports, and individual progress notes.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Social Work, or related field preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant with experience working with IDD, Mental Health, and/or dually diagnosed populations preferred.
- Must be able to work weekend shifts and holidays.
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings, including drug test, physical, and TB test.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive Devereux vehicles for business purposes.
