Position Overview
The Jewelry Collection Assistant Manager for Alhambra is the authority on product knowledge for the Alhambra collection. This role is accountable for implementing the Maison's vision and strategy for the iconic Alhambra collection, tailoring it to the unique characteristics of the Americas market, while also assisting the jewelry manager in expanding the collection.
This position reports to the Jewelry Product Manager and is based in New York.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the network in achieving sales targets for the Alhambra collection.
- Analyze sales trends for the Alhambra collection and provide actionable recommendations and monthly reports, including in-depth studies.
- Coordinate and ensure the successful execution of annual Alhambra launches, including preparing internal tools, providing analysis for accurate forecasting, managing pre-sales, rolling out training materials, monitoring sales, and gathering qualitative insights post-launch.
- Collaborate with Communications (Media, PR, VM, Events), Retail, CRM, e-Commerce, and Supply Chain to ensure comprehensive collection launches.
- Provide market trend insights and jewelry competition analysis to inform local strategy development.
- Work with the Training Department to create and implement product training for new hires and current boutique teams.
- Offer daily operational support to boutiques related to the collection.
- Manage allocation, stock movements, and monitor sales of Alhambra rare materials.
- Oversee the weekly In The Loupe newsletter.
- Maintain accurate Alhambra product information in the product database (PICUS).
- Assist with jewelry Special Orders as needed.
- Support the preparation, organization, and execution of events as required.
- Ensure clear communication with HQ counterparts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in the luxury sector is advantageous.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and content creation abilities; jewelry/stone expertise is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing or merchandising; retail experience is beneficial.
- A proactive, adaptable, innovative, and passionate individual.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Potential for future development within the Maison.
- Strong proficiency in Windows environment, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Macro, and SAP is a plus.
- Proficiency in French is a plus.
