Job Title: Senior IT Systems Engineer

Entegris is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of advanced materials and process solutions for the semiconductor, life sciences, and other high-tech industries.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our Cloud Services team in Aurora, IL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using VMware and other cloud technologies
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our systems, including endpoint, systems, storage, network, and security
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project leaders to understand requirements and set expectations for deliverables
  • Provide technical expertise in system design, installation, configuration, tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
  • Manage effective relationships and work in partnership with various IT and business teams, vendors, etc., for the implementation and support of infrastructure and networking products and services
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of IT Infrastructure experience or Data Center Operations experience
  • 8+ years of VMware experience (ESXi, VCF, vSAN, vSphere, HCX, SDDC, NSX & ARIA)
  • 5+ years of cloud engineering experience (private/hybrid cloud)
  • 5+ years of automation and scripting experience (PowerShell, PowerCLI, SQL etc.)
  • 5+ years' experience working with IaaS & PaaS and native cloud services (Azure/GCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Semiconductor or manufacturing vertical including experience with operational technology (OT) and industrial networks
  • Dell VxRail Design/Build and deployment
  • High-Performance Compute (HPC) design experience a plus
